Last Wednesday having been closed since April following the coronavirus pandemic, Woodhams Day Nursery opened the doors again welcoming back many families and continuing to prep for more. It was a lovely day finally hearing giggles and squeals in the rooms again.
The work in the background to reach this point was massive and seemed to grow with every announcement and then needed additional tweaking with each release of guidance from the government.
This huge task has been carried out with great success by Kim, working throughout the closure whilst also home schooling and Woodhams is lucky to have such a passionate manager. I am so proud of her skills in creating and adapting our processes and this drive has ensured that the welcome back was warm and safe for all.
Although Kim has been managing the day to day running of the nursery for a while now, a pandemic has stretched even her patience. I feel so lucky to have such a passionate and focussed manager and feel very grateful that she has stuck with me since the start.
So, whilst welcoming the restart of Woodhams, I wanted to take the chance to highlight the background a little and thank Kim immensely for being the crazy person she is to take on this massive role and grow it continually.
The whole Woodhams Staff Team have been amazing in putting plans into action and I hope that you will allow me to use this message to thank each and every one of them.
So……. from Kim and I, thank you for continuing to support Woodhams Farm Day nursery and from me an extra thank you to Kim who has always held similar passion to me regarding the importance of the children, the families and the understanding of what Woodhams is all about.
Thank you Kim……………………… Thank you to all the girls and Thank you and welcome back to you all
